Rotary Banners
Rotary banners decorate the streets of Melbourne as the formal opening of the convention draws near. This morning the House of Friendship will open its doors.
Melbourne Skydeck
At the end of the afternoon we visited the Melbourne Skydeck for a view of the city from the 88th floor.

Foodie Tour
Our tour group at the QVM included Rotarians from Alaska, Wisconsin, and Texas. This wasn't a Rotary-organized event, but we all separately had the same idea. Here is a sampling of the photos I took.
Ready for the Foodie Tour
We took a tram from the convention centre to the Queen Victoria Market where we are scheduled to take the Ultimate Foodie Tour in 30 minutes.
Convention Registration
It is Friday morning, and we arrived at the convention center early to pick up our badges and wrist bands for two of the host committ events.
Memorial Arch
At the east end of the Ocean Road is a memorial arch commemorating the World War I veterans who initially constructed the road.
