Taipei 101
After Tuesday's luncheon we headed for Taipei 101 while weather conditions appeared favorable. By the time we arrived it was raining heavily. However, we lingered long enough for conditions to improve.

Presidents Recognition Luncheon
On Monday we attended the luncheon and sat at the table hosted by Brian Hall, our Zones 30-31 director.

Host Hospitality
On Sunday evening we went to the Host Hospitality event, a single dinner in a hotel ballroom. Taiwan Rotarians were gracious hosts, and the dinner and music were spectacular.
Opening Session
On Sunday afternoon we attended the second of two opening sessions in the Taipei Dome.

House of Friendship
The House of Friendship opened on the 4th floor of the convention center at 9 am on Saturday. We arrived soon thereafter. The offial opening ceremonies took place after 10 am, and by the time the ceremony ended the hall was buzzing with Rotarians.
